Salem Sump Dual Lumen Stomach Tube

Covidien's dual lumen Salem Sump tube allows safe continuous and intermittent gastric suction. The large lumen allows for easy aspiration of gastric contents, decompression, irrigation and drug administration. A smaller ventilation lumen allows atmospheric air to be drawn into the tube and equalizes the negative pressure in the stomach once the contents are emptied. This prevents the suction cups from sticking to the stomach lining and damaging it

Double lumen PVC tubing – one lumen for suction drainage; the other for venting the sump
-X-ray opaque Sentinel Line with Sentinel Eye tubing
-integrated funnel connector with removable 5in1 adapter
-integrated irrigation funnel for irrigation through the ventilation lumen of the sump
-the funnel end of the ventilation lumen can be used to close the 5in1 adapter
