Older generation - the buttons are classically sewn (not the Canadian way), strong, hard material, there is a large pocket on the inside of the jacket on the shoulders (one US MRE is shown in the picture to show the size), there are two spare buttons on the right side of the jacket inside, without ripstop material

All the parkas we have available are without hoods
